A Little Bit About Us...
The Owl Tree is located along the famous, Wild Atlantic Way in the beautiful west of Ireland.
The seed for The Owl Tree was ‘sewn’ in Ireland over 100 years ago. My mum learned the delicate art of Celtic embroidery and the skills of colour shading in The Dun Emer Guild.
As a young child I helped design and make all sorts of exciting toys from coloured fabric and yarns. This magic of creating toys and cherished belongings lives on. These treasures, which are beloved in many children’s nurseries, are what memories are made of.
The skills live on as my daughter, Emer, has joined The Owl Tree and brought a modern twist!

At The Owl Tree our products are personal and bespoke. They are created with love and respect using small items and photos pertaining to the recipient. We imagine, design and create photo memory lap blankets, personalized fidget blankets and weighted lap blankets.
